Pull those weeds that are already up and running; turn over the soil if it’s not too wet; find some cheap bags of sheep manure and dig it in; check germination of the seeds you’ve saved from last year.
Plant spinach, bush peas near a low trellis, green (or red) bunching onions, oriental greens.
