Trinity Today has been a work in progress for the past few months. We had shared with a few people the rhyme and the reason for embarking on this lofty goal armed with a little passion and an abundance of brute force and ignorance.
A sailor friend of mine once said; “Never let it be said that not knowing what I’m doing stop me from doing it”. I believed him, after all he had built a sailboat from the keel up in a hot dry area of Australia, launched his vessel and set out with his family to sail half way around the world and back. Not once but twice. I admired and have been inspired by his ability to set a goal and the relentless determination to succeed.
Staying with the marine analogy, Trinity Today was not quite ready to be launched. We’re afloat, so to speak, because a curious soul was able to guess the Trinity Today url, posted it on Facebook and here we are, launched before we were quite ready.
I guess when you consider the Canadian government paid $800 million dollars for 4 submarines in 1998 and have to date spent hundreds of millions of dollars with three still in dry dock and one , well sort of operational having fired a test torpedo the other day, we’re not doing too bad…..at no cost to the Canadian taxpayer I might add.

The good ship Trinity Today is launched and let’s say we are doing “sea trials”. There will be glitches and things to fix and there will be enhancements to add, but with your patience and a good and faithful crew we will get there.
